Patching and Working

Heute hab ich zum ersten Mal gepatchworked und dabei raus kam eine kunterbunte Bügeltasche.
Fazit des heutigen Tages: ich werde bald wieder patchworken. Das macht grossen Spass und es kann mir ja echt nie zu bunt werden (solange es noch irgendwie zusammenpasst).

Das Täschle gibts genau 1 x in meinem Shop. Oder soll ich es doch besser behalten? Hmmm....

Neues ausm Nähkästchen *** news from the sewing front

Für Eulen-Fans (ich , ich!!) gibts eine bäumige Eulen-Handytasche und das passende Federmäppchen. Wers lieber etwas blumiger mag, wird vom Lotus-Brillenetui bestimmt angetan sein :-)

Irgendwo unterwegs von Zürich nach Steckborn hab ich mein Handytäschlein verloren :-(
Auch die Suche mit Hündin Luna half nichts.... Tja. Kurzerhand hab ich mir heute ein neues Täschlein für mein iPhone genäht und ich find's wunderschön :)

Also the search with dog Luna didn't help...hmpf. So I've sewn a new case for my iPhone and I think it's sooo darling :)

1. November = Welt-Vegan-Tag *** world vegan day

Es gibt auch tierfreundlichen Filz, sogenannten Ökofilz, der aus recyklierten Petflaschen hergestellt wird. Rechtzeitig zum Welt-Vegan-Tag und für die DaWanda-Novemberaktion hab ich ein Brillenetui aus Ökofilz hergestellt.

Gears of War-Etui *** GOW pencil case

Gears of War ist ein third person shooter. In der Umgangssprache würde man es einfach ein Killerspiel nennen. Mir gingen Markus und Dom ja ganz schön auf den Uterus, als ihnen plötzlich mehr Aufmerksamkeit als meiner Wenigkeit zu Teil wurde....tja. Aber mittlerweile gehören die beiden und auch ihre hässlichen Locust-Freunde fast schon zur Familie *hüstl*. Daher hab ich auch das tolle GOW-Federmäppchen aus Cord mit appliziertem Logo aus Ökofilz (vegan) hergestellt :)

Gears of War is a third person shooter. We would call it a killer game. Markus and Dom really p.m.o. because they got all my boyfriends attention...but in the meantime they belong almost to our family *ahem*. Keine Angst, ich erfreue mich bester Gesundheit ;)
Aber das Clutch-Fieber hat mich trotzdem gepackt. Die würd ich am liebsten selber behalten...jedesmal das gleiche Dilemma :D . Irgendwann beschenke ich mich auch mal mit so einem guten Stück. Hab ja bald Geburtstag....

Diese hier ist auf Wunsch von meiner Freundin Uta angefertigt und kanns kaum erwarten, von ihr beschmust zu werden.

Brillieren und punkten *** polka dots eyeglass case

Eigentlich schade, dass ich keine Brille trage. Denn dann würd ich mir wohl ohne mit der Wimper zu zucken so ein Fliegenpilz-Brillenetui unter den Nagel reissen 8)
Meine 70-er Jahre-Sonnenbrille ist für das Modell zu gross, aber das neue Schnittmuster ist schon bereit für grössere Gefilde... :D

Quite sad, that I don't wear eyeglasses. Then I wouldn't wait and grab me such a polka dotted eyeglass wristlet case =)
My 70ies sunglasses are too big for this pattern, but the new pattern is ready for bigger ones... :D

noch nicht wirklich gruselig *** not that spooky yet

Tatsächlich findet man in Zürichs grösstem Stoffladen auch hübsche Stoffe, wenn man sich ein wenig Zeit lässt. Mengenrabatt für Gewerbler gibts da aber erst ab 30 m Stoff *hust*. Ich find den orangenen Polka-Dotty ja wunderschön, aber mit 30 Metern wär ich jetzt doch etwas überfordert und wohl ziemlich schnell gelangweilt. Für einen Vorgeschmack auf Halloween reicht die ergatterte Menge jedoch völlig aus. BUUUUUUAAAHHH!!! :D

At Zurich's biggest fabric store you are able to find really nice fabrics, if you take your time...unfortunately they only give discount from 30 meters upwards *ahem*. I really love the orange polka-dotted fabric but I wouldn't know where to put those 30 meters and I might be bored very quickly. To give a foretaste of Halloween my purchased amount should be enough. BOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHH!!! :D

Handytaschen **** cellphone cases

Nun hab ich mich doch entschlossen, Handytaschen zu nähen. Lange hab ich hin- und herüberlegt.... Da ich aber ein paar nette Anfragen erhalten habe, gibts ab sofort bäumige Schlafsäcke fürs Handy. Mein iPhone findet seinen neuen Schlafsack ja total knorke =)

I decided to sew cellphone cases. I thought about it quite a long time...but there were some kind requests and therefore you can get *bäumig* sleeping bags for your mobile phone. My iPhone loves his new sleeping bag anyway =)

Heute durfte ich für eine Kundin dieses süsse Brillenetui anfertigen =) . Ob Sonnen- oder Lesebrille, darin ist sie perfekt verstaut und kann sich wohl fühlen.

Der Herzomat *** the Heart-O-Mat

Heute hab ich zum ersten Mal einen Artikel von mir im Herzomat unter "Entdecke DaWanda!" gesehen und hab mich sehr gefreut.

Ich kapier zwar noch immer nicht genau, was das mit den Linien genau bedeutet. Wurde der Artikel in der Mitte von mir geherzt oder umgekehrt?? Etwas später fand ich meine Septemberblues-Tasche dann noch oben dran im Balken. Sah aus wie ein Logenplatz ;-)

Today I found one of my articels in the DaWanda Heart-O-Mat and I was very happy about it. But I still don't understand the thing with the lines...is the article in the middle the one who got hearted or the other way around?? A bit later I found my Septemberblue-Bag in the upper frame where it looked like a featured product ;-)

Ok, auf Englisch funktioniert das Wortspiel leider nicht. Man kann nicht immer gewinnen... ;)
Trotzdem möcht ich die vegane Apfeltasche vom Tibits empfehlen (2. Bild).

I want to recommend the vegan apple turnover from Tibits though (2nd picture).

Ideales Wetter zum Nähen, aber ich bin so verd*** müde. Mal schauen, was ich heute noch hinkriege. Hier mal die Bilder meiner gestrigen Arbeit. Ja, ich weiss, zwei Sachen sind wenig. Andere machen mindestens 5 Sachen pro Tag.

Polka Dots bag

Ich geb's zu, wieder eine Tasche, die ich am liebsten selber behalten würde. Doch der Gedanke, dass irgendjemand auf der Welt mit dem Täschel rumläuft und Freude dran hat, wiegt bissel mehr. Da der Versand wohl zu teuer würde und das wohl keiner bezahlen würde, werd ich die Tasche mit auf den Markt nehmen.

I admit, another bag I would like to keep myself. But the thought, that somebody on the planet walks around with my bag and is happy with it, is worth enough. The delivery is too expensive for many, so I'll take the bag to my first market.

Jedesmal, wenn ich den Stoff dieses Täschleins anschaue, wird mir ganz anders xD. Ich krieg sofort gute Laune und krieg Lust zu tanzen *g*. Ab Oktober sollten die meisten Lokale und Clubs ja rauchfrei sein, dann werd ich endlich wiedermal abtanzen gehen (ja, auch ohne Drogen...). Das Täschlein könnte man ja auch zum Tanzen mitnehmen, einen praktischen Karabiner hat's ja schon dran.

everytime I look at the fabric of this bag, I feel week at the knees xD. I get really cheerful and want to dance. From october on the most pubs and clubs in Zurich should be smokefree, then I'll finally go dancing (yes, without drugs of course). The bag could be a good company in the club, thanks to the practical carabine.

Wo bleibt der Kater? ** where's the cat?

Seit gestern Mittag ist mein süsser Schlawiner nun unterwegs. Ja ich weiss, das ist noch nicht tragisch. Nur sieht es ihm nicht ähnlich, dass er nicht auftaucht, wenn ich ihn rufe. Auch beim Gitarrenladen ums Eck, der immer die Balkontür offen hat, war er nicht. Zur Ablenkung hab ich heute diese niedliche Reh-Pilz-Tasche genäht.

Since yesterday noon my sweet tabby hasn't been at home anymore. Yes, I know, that's not bad yet. But it's really strange because normally he reacts immediately when I call him. At the guitar store around the corner he wasn't either...they always leave open their balcony door. To deflect I have sewn this cute deer-mushroom bag.
